What is hyperbaric chamber?
A hyperbaric chamber is a sealed container capable of withstanding pressures greater than atmospheric, where a hyperbaric environment (high to normal pressure) is created; and is essential to the administration of hyperbaric oxygenation.
What is Hyperbaric Oxygen?
"Hyperbaric oxygenation treatment is a type, in which high partial pressures of oxygen in the body, based on pure oxygen inside a hyperbaric chamber at a higher than normal atmospheric pressure are obtained" .
Hyperbaric chambers can be classified into cars and Multiplazas.
Multiplaza Cameras: having two or more compartments. Allow entry or exit of personnel and patients the same as the pressure is maintained in the main compartments. Its goal is to provide treatment to two or more people.
Monoplaza Cameras: have a unique compartment designed for a single patient. They are usually pressurized with oxygen, so that the patient does not need a mask.
Such Monoplaza Camara is that we have to our Medical Center.
